Inspired by first-hand industry experience and a passion for sharing the world’s most beautiful homes, products and design resources, Est was conceived as a digital ‘little black book’ for design enthusiasts across the world. We believe that your home is your sanctuary and we want to inspire and guide your design process through the principles of store, share, save and shop.

We are a passionate team of curators who are fastidious about thoughtful design and great craftsmanship. We comb the globe and draw on the creative talent of an international team of photographers, designers, stylists and writers to create the daily content on estliving.com and our free quarterly digital publication, est magazine.

Originally launched in 2011, est has grown from Australia’s first digital design publication to a highly-engaged global community. Our award-winning website estliving.com is the central hub of the est experience, complimented by the weekly ‘latest’ e-newsletter and social media platforms.

Combining a passion for design with over 20 years of experience in commercialising digital businesses, Miffy has worked with some of Australia’s most successful lifestyle brands including Vogue, GQ, Taste.com.au, Delicious, Donna Hay and Kidspot.com.au. Having built her career during the establishment years of the Australian online market, Miffy worked with numerous businesses in high growth periods including ninemsn.com.au and carpoint.com.au. As an Executive Board Member and the Commercial Director of Kidspot.com.au, Miffy was crucial in building the platform to its $48M acquisition. Prior to joining est, Miffy was the Commercial Director of NewsLifeMedia and managed a portfolio of websites with over $80M revenue.

Mandy joined est in November 2016 after over 15 years experience in sales management, new business and revenue management. As part of the leadership team for lifestyle brand Kidspot.com.au from 2006-2012, Mandy managed large sales teams across HR, digital and retail outcomes and is a strong manager and business leader. With a strong understanding of digital consumer behaviour, trends and marketing, Mandy excels in partnering with SME businesses at the growth stage. She is also the unofficial CEO of est – ‘Chief Entertainment Officer’.

Astrid is a highly experienced and passionate commercial leader with proven success achieving results through long-lasting relationships and partnerships in media sales, spanning 19+ years. As a group sales director, Astrid has managed high performing teams across women’s lifestyle, food, fashion, interior & design sectors including brands such as Delicious, Vogue Living, Belle, taste.com.au. Astrid takes a keen interest in design and interiors and has undertaken an extensive renovation of her own on the Mornington Peninsula.

Sophie Lewis

Sophie brings a fastidious eye for design detail and a passion for the written word to est living. With an impressive portfolio of writing, Sophie is adept at digital content creation and strategy. Her inherent instinct for good design ensures estliving.com remains an authentic resource for both an Australian and international audience. With a degree in Professional Communication majoring in Journalism from RMIT University, Sophie’s evolution in the est team has mirrored the publisher’s rapid growth as she progressed through the ranks from intern to managing editor of estliving.com at the end of 2019. Sophie also worked as a journalist at News Corp and freelance writer. In 2019 she represented est living on a design tour to Copenhagen and most recently, in January 2020, reported on MAISON & OBJET, Paris.

Brigitte joined est in 2017. Previous experience in visual communications and customer service has enabled her to acquire a vast range of transferable skills that she has loved building on. Having completed a Bachelor of Acting, Brigitte enjoys being able to inject her creative flair into her work. She is est HQ’s (self-appointed) resident entertainer.

Lidia knocked on est’s door as an intern while studying a Diploma of Interior Design at RMIT. Upon completing her studies Lidia was appointed the role of editorial assistant, supporting content production on estliving.com and across social media platforms, driven by her passion for design.
